What Shakeology Has Done for Me
I want to talk to you about what Shakeology has done for me and my experience with drinking for the past 4 years. I was super skeptical about drinking my calories and nutrition because I had always heard that it's better to get your nutrition from real foods. Well guess what? Shakeology IS real food! They shop for the ingredients for Shakeology literally ALL over the world! When I first tried it I made the mistake of mixing it with tap water without a bender. You DO NOT want to drink it this way. Invest in a good blender. I always add ICE, water, and about half a cup of coconut milk for thicker consistency. 1. SHAKEOLOGY INCREASES ENERGY AND STAMINA: I wake up early, get kids off to school, teach my fitness classes, train my clients, then work from my computer most days. I always used to crash and burn around 2:00 or 3:00 in the afternoon after lunch. I used to get so tired I would literally fall asleep sitting at my computer. I don’t get that feeling anymore now that I have added Shakeology to my nutrition. The nutritional content in Shakeology is so amazing and I believe this is why I no longer crash in the afternoons. 2. SHAKEOLOGY IMPROVED MY RIDING PERFORMANCE: Before Shakeology I would go out for group rides and let the “fast” riders take off while I struggled to catch my breath at some points along the way. My bike time in a recent race was almost 2 whole minutes faster this year than last. I tried modifying my diet and that helped bring the numbers a little lower but still above 220, which was not ideal.
